State Senate Leader Peter Kinder is thinking about running for Lieutenant Governor or Attorney General next year. He’s formed an exploratory committee to raise money for a run at one of those offices. If Kinder opts for Attorney General, he’ll have to oust Jay Nixon, who says he’s going to seek a fourth term. If he goes for Lieutenant Governor, he’ll try to replace Joe Maxwell, who won’t announce hs plans until after the Legislature adjourns. Kinder cannot run for another term as a Senator because of term limits. He’s from Cape Girardeau.
