Governor Bob Holden’s trip to Washington, D.C., for the National Governors’ Association meeting sees him pick up some added responsiblities. Holden has been elected Chairman of the Midwestern Governors’ Conference by his fellow Governors from this part of the country. He’ll hold that post for one year. As chair of the 13 state organization, Holden will spearhead efforts to seek changes in federal politics to stimulate growth and job creation in the Midwest.
