Westminster College in Fulton is cutting staff to deal with a $1.5-Million deficit. President Fletcher Lamkin says the drop in the stock market and a decrease in income from the college endowment has hurt the college’s $17-Million budget. Lamkin asserts the college isn’t in a crisis, but is making rational and logical decisions at a crossroads for the college. He expects the moves to wipe out the budget deficit in three years.
