The Missouri Women hosted fifth-ranked K-State on Wednesday, hoping to continue their winning ways. Mizzou had won seven of their last nine, but the Wildcats proved to be too much in a 66-56 loss. KSU took charge early with a 34-17 lead at the half and were able to hold on despite being outscored 39-32 in the second half. Meghan Mahoney, Kendra Wecker and Nicole Ohlde scored all but 10 of K-State’s points last night. Kerensa Barr led the way for the Tigers with 17; Evan Unrau had 15. Mizzou fell to 13-10 overall and 7-5 in the Big 12. The ‘Cats improved to 24-2 and 13-1.
