Tigers Fall Out Of AP, Face ‘Huskers Tonight

February 18, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

Are the Missouri Tigers a top 25 team? Depends on whom you ask. Mizzou dropped out of the AP poll for the first time this season, but fell just one spot to 22 in the coaches’ poll. The Tigers were 1-1 last week with a road loss to Texas A&M and a home win over K-State. Tonight the Tigers are at the Hearnes Center to face Nebraska, who enters the game with the worst conference mark in the league. The ‘Huskers are 1-9 in league play, 9-14 overall. Mizzou’s 15-6 overall and 6-4 in the Big 12.
