The Missouri Republican Party is gearing up to fight back against allegations made by Governor Holden that House and Senate Republicans are to blame for cuts the Governor says he will have to make to education funding. GOP Executive Director John Hancock says it’s time for the truth to be told and a radio advertising campaign should help to do that. He says Republicans in the Legislature have put forward a list of alternatives to education cuts, but the Governor refuses to consider those alternatives. Hancock says it’s important to set the record straight and to seek the support of the public to prevent the Governor from cutting education. Hancock adds Holden has been playing fast and loose with the facts and it’s time Missourians knew the truth.
