Keith Tkachuk and Pavol Demitra mirrored one another as the Blues topped the Flames 5-3 in St. Louis. They both scored two goals and handed out an assist to overcome two two-goal deficits. Starting goalie Fred Brathwaite allowed two goals in the first 3:04 to put St. Louis in an early hole. But Demitra and Tkachuk scored their first goals of the game and St. Louis trailed 3-2 at the end of one. Then the Blues exploded for three goals in the second period for the 5-3 final. Tyson Nash netted the game winner when a Barrett Jackman shot ricocheted off his skate. The win put St. Louis 4 points ahead of Detroit in the Central Division.
