Pitchers and catchers report to Jupiter, Florida and Surprise, Arizona today as the Cards and Royals open up training camp. The Royals avoided a potential headache yesterday when they signed outfielder Raul Ibanez a one year deal for $3-million. The deal means Ibanez won’t have an arbitration hearing. He hit .294 with 24 homers and 103 RBI’s. Carlos Beltran had his arbitration hearing yesterday.
