Blues Blow Lead, Lose To Flyers

Blues fans had their hearts broken just shy of Valentines Day. St. Louis lost to Philadelphia 4-3 in overtime, blowing a 3-0 lead in the process. Leading 3-1 in the third, goalie Brent Johnson allowed two goals to force overtime. In the extra frame, former Blue Michal Handzus beat Johnson at the 2:02 mark to end it. With the point for forcing overtime, the Blues have a four-point advantage over the Red Wings in the Central division. Center Doug Weight will be out 1-3 weeks after breaking a bone in his face on Tuesday. After being hit by a puck. Weight had another puck-related injury when he was hit in the foot during the All-Star Game.
