The State Supreme Court has thrown out the conviction and death sentence of a man convicted of two murders in Camden County. The Court’s ruling in the case of Danny Wolfe is unanimous. It says he had an ineffective lawyer. He could get a new trial. It’s the fourth time in the last six months that the court has overturned a death sentence. Wolfe was convicted of killing a couple at their home in the Greenview area in 1997. No physical evidence linked Wolfe to the killings but the court says his lawyer never had tests run that could have showed Wolfe was not involved.
