The Southeast Missouri St. basketball team dropped to 9-12 last night in an 85-73 loss to Eastern Illinois. SEMO had a tough time defensively as the Panthers shot 57 percent from the floor on Tuesday. Eastern Illinois also had the advantage from the free throw line hitting 16 of 20; the Indians were 6 of 9. Brett Hale led the way for Southeast with 29 points. Henry Domecrant had 35 for Eastern Illinois.
