Two Kansas City charter schools are being investigated on allegations that they have inflated attendance figures, and gotten too much state school aid. The president of the Kansas City School Board says other issues also are being investigated. Kansas City already has lost one of its charter schools because of false attendance figures. It closed and declared bankruptcy after the school board ruled it had to give back $400,000 in aid.
