Kemper Military Academy will be auctioned off April 4th – everything – buildings, equipment, clothing. If the entire school doesn’t sell as a package, it’ll be broken up into parcels and sold piece by piece. Kemper was the oldest military school west of the Mississippi River when it closed last summer because of lack of money. A Boonville bank owns the school now, after paying two-million dollars for it last September. Some things will be sold in advance. The school’s store and quartermaster storage areas will be opened on April second and third to sell items there.
