UMKC won their third game of the season with an amazing performance. Their 78-71 win over Western Illinois was fueled by a sizzling 59 percent from the floor. The ‘Roos shot 66 percent in the second half. Michael Watson led all scorers with 26 points. Watson’s fourth in the nation in scoring. UMKC’s 3-16 and 2-4 in the Mid Con Conference. Oddly enough, they’re 2-1 on the road in conference play and 0-3 at home.
