January 30, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

It looked like the Missouri Tigers were heading towards a season low. Mizzou trailed Nebraska by as many as 13 points last night, but pulled it together to top the Huskers 63-56 in Lincoln. The Tigers shot 34.5 percent in the first half and trailed 31-22 at the break. In the second half they 55 percent of their shots, and went on a 19-9 run. Arthur Johnson led MU with 18 points and 11 rebounds. He became the 11th Tiger to reach 1,000 points and 700 rebounds for a career. Ricky Paulding had 14 and Jimmy McKinney was scoreless, but dished out a team-high five assists. The Tigers are 12-4 overall and 3-2 in the Big 12. They host Colorado on Saturday.
