A man who authorities say impersonated professional football players to work his way into St. Louis area hospitals and run up huge bills returned to his old ways after walking away from a halfway house. Walter Dean stands six feet and weighs 220 pounds. He served time in prison and was ordered to make restitution to the hospitals for using a false Social Security number and his physical presence to impersonate St. Louis Rams linebacker London Fletcher. But police now say Dean walked away from the halfway house and passed himself off as Rams linebacker Jamie Duncan, catching store clerks off guard in an effort to steal things. Authorities have arrested him and charged him with stealing and with violating his probation.
