Stewart Honored At Lawrence

January 28, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

Former Missouri Tiger head basketball coach Norm Stewart was honored before last night’s Kansas-Texas game in Lawrence. He was applauded for his contributions to the sport and for his work off the court with Coaches vs. Cancer. Kansas head coach Roy Williams, who presented him with a rocking chair introduced Stewart. As the Allen Field House crowd chanted “Sit down Norm!”, Stewart took a seat at mid-court. In 32 games on KU’s home court, Stewart had a record of 10-22.
