Telemarketer Fined $60,000 For Violating No-Call Law

A telemarketer has been hit with a $60,000 fine for trying to sell windshield repairs to people who don’t want telemarketers to call. The Attorney General’s Office has taken Expert Auto Glass Incorporated to court after getting more than 200 complaints. It’s the second-biggest amount paid by a telemarketer who’s broken the state’s no-call law. More than 1.1-Million people are on the state No Call list.
