Blues Goalies Smothered In Loss

January 22, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

Fred Brathwaite and Brent Johnson allowed five first period goals to the Thrashers. That’s certainly not a recipe for success especially on the road, as Atlanta downed St. Louis 8-4. Brathwaite was pulled after giving up three goals. Johnson replaced him and allowed two goals off three shots. Brathwaite played the rest of the game, allowing three more goals. Keith Tkachuk scored two goals in the loss.
