The Blues had to make a decision. They were a center short after Petr Cajanek broke his leg earlier this week. They had to either bring up a young player from Worcester or find someone outside the club. Luckily for them, the Senators made that decision very easy. St. Louis picked up 30-year old Steve Martins off waivers yesterday. Martins was shuttled between the NHL and the minors this season. He had two goals and three assists with the Sens this season.
