Bills Fall to Cincy

January 16, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

Saint Louis Billiken head coach Brad Soderberg missed last night’s game against Cincinnati with a stomach virus. Perhaps it was for the best. The Bills dropped to 0-3 in C-USA play with a 66-56 loss. The Bills struggled from the field, shooting 38 percent. Marquee Perry had 20 and Josh Fisher had 18, but no other Billiken scored more than six points on Wednesday, and no one seemed to have an answer for Leonard Stokes. He led the Bearcats with 25 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals. SLU dropped to 6-8 overall, while Cincinnati improved to 3-0 in the conference and 10-3 overall. The Billikens travel to Houston Saturday.
