A move is underway to make some changes to the state’s No Call telephone list. Attorney General Jay Nixon and several state lawmakers want to see legislation that would close some of the loopholes that allow some companies and businesses to get around the law. Nixon says when the No Call law was passed in 2000, certain interests were successful in efforts to be exempted from the list. He such businesses as telephone companies and financial institutions are still legally interrupting people who don’t want to be disturbed.
