Bruce Sutter was the highest vote getter with Missouri ties in yesterday’s Hall of Fame balloting, which was released yesterday. Sutter was third in voting, but fell 106 votes short of induction. Gary Carter and Eddie Murray represent the class of 2003. Pitcher Darryl Kile was a special addition to the ballot and got nine votes.
