Judge Promises Speedy Ruling In Case Of Internet Twins’ Sibling

January 4, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

A St. Louis Circuit Judge is promising to rule as quickly as possible on the question of custody regarding a 5-year-old girl who is the older sister of the so-called Internet twins – twin girls whose adoptions through an Internet broker made headlines throughout the world. Nala Wecker is the 5-year-old daughter of Tranda and Aaron Wecker – who are are in the midst of a divorce and share joint custody of the youngster. As for the twins, the same judge ruled last month that it was in the best interest of those children to terminate the Weckers’ parental rights. The twins were placed in state custody after a couple in California and a Welsh couple had paid a broker to adopt the girls for them. Tranda Wecker insists she never received any of the money.
