Blues Win 4th Straight

Geoff Sanderson scored two first period goals, but that’s all he or the rest of the Blue Jackets got on Sunday. The Blues won their fourth straight with a 5-2 victory at home. They topped also topped the Blue Jackets in Columbus on Saturday 6-1. Cory Stillman, Scott Mellanby, Martin Rucinsky, Pavol Demitra and Tyson Nash all scored for St. Louis. Al MacInnis had two assists. Brent Johnson made 24 saves to get the win. The Blues trail first placed Detroit by three points in the Central Division. The two teams square off in Detroit New Year’s eve.
