Missouri has formally filed a settlement with Household Finance Corporation, one of the largest credit lenders in the world. It follows the filing of a consent judgment earlier this month in Cole County Circuit Court. That action saw HFC agreeing to pay Missouri consumers more than $13-Million in restitution for alleged unfair lending practices. Household will pay a total of $484-Million in consumer restitution nationwide.
