The head of the Missouri chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving is pleased to see the federal government promising to get tougher with drunk drivers. Missouri MADD’s Executive Director Don Otto says drunk driving is re-emerging as a problem on our roads. Federal agencies, including the Department of Transportation, are vowing to crackdown on drunk and drugged driving during the holiday season. Between today and January 5th, thousands of law enforcement officers will be out in force conducting sobriety checkpoints.
