The Royals best pitcher last season may make a decision today. Free agent Paul Byrd is mulling over two-year offers from the Royals, Phillies, Braves and Mariners. He says he may announce who he’ll sign with today. Byrd was 17-11 last season and led the majors in complete games. All four teams are offering two-year deals worth around $7-million.
