The NAIA is expected to have its division one basketball tournament in Kansas City’s Municipal Auditorium for the next five years. The announcement was made yesterday afternoon. The tournament began at Municipal in 1937. It moved to Kemper Auditorium in 1975 and left Kansas City altogether in 1994. But it returned to Municipal last year and drew over 40,000 fans, which was record.
