Blues Lose To Wings in OT

December 9, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

The Blues lost to the Red wings 4-3 in overtime. St. Louis scored two goals in the 3rd period to force the extra frame. But Detroit scored at the 1:59 mark of OT, to get the win and the point. St. Louis played without Keith Tkachuk who had to leave for a family emergency, Pavol Demitra who has the chicken pox and Bryce Salvador who pulled a hamstring. The loss drops them two points behind the Red wings for first place in the Central Division.
