Columbia College, Missouri Baptist in NAIA Tourney

December 6, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

Columbia College went 1-1 in pool play, and 2-1 overall at the NAIA volleyball national tournament in San Diego yesterday. They have one more game today and will advance with a win. The Lady Cougars beat Wilmington College earlier in the day, but lost the late game to Lubbock Christian. With a win over Fresno Pacific later today, the defending national champs will advance to the quarterfinals. The news isn’t so good for St. Louis’ Missouri Baptist. They’re now 1-2 after their 1-1 performance yesterday. They lost to Point Loma Nazarene and Houston Baptist. They have one more match today, but probably won’t advance.
