Nixon Warns About Purchasing Ads For High School Sports Calendars

December 4, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

Attorney General Jay Nixon is warning central Missouri businesses approached to buy advertisements for posters featuring local high school sports calendars. Nixon issued the advisory after his office was contacted about Jefferson City-area businesses being solicited to purchase the ads. Nixon says anyone wanting to support local sports programs should give donations locally, and should contact the athletic director or the booster club at a school to find out the best way to do this.
