Warner, Pace Out With Injuries

December 3, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

The fact that Kurt Warner’s right hand was in pain was not a secret. The question was how hurt it was. Yesterday the truth was revealed. X-rays showed that Warner has a broken bone below his pinkie and will miss at least two games. Many speculated that something was wrong, though Warner denied that it was anything serious. In six starts, Warner threw three touchdowns and 11 interceptions. The Rams will start Jamie Martin this Sunday against the Chiefs. Marc Bulger, who was 5-0 as the starter, is still nursing a hand injury and cant play. Warner won’t be the only All-Pro out of the lineup. Left tackle Orlando Pace will also miss at least two weeks with a torn hamstring. He suffered the injury in Sunday’s 10-3 loss to the Eagles.
