Chiefs’ linebacker Lew Bush is back at practice after serving a four game suspension. Last month, Bush tested positive for ephedrine, which is now banned by the NFL. At the time of the suspension Bush complained that the banned substance was not listed as an ingredient of an over-the-counter product he was taking. The NFL banned ephedrine because there is evidence linking it to a number of health-related problems like fatal heart rhythm, strokes and seizures. It’s commonly found in cold medicine. Bush will most likely be active for this weekend’s game with the Rams.
