In Southwest Missouri, it’ll be all dirt soon. I-44 Speedway in Lebanon and Bolivar Speedway have been purchased by Randy Mooneyham who also owns the Monett speedway. He plans on turning I-44 into a dirt track, which will allow him to have dirt races in Bolivar on Fridays, Lebanon on Saturdays and in Monett on Sundays at the three tracks. I-44 is the only asphalt track in Southwest Missouri. It switched from dirt to asphalt in 1989.
