St. Loius prosecutor Jennifer Joyce says she’s has gotten about a half-doizen more so-called “promising cases” involving allegaltions of sexual abuse by Catholic priests. Joyce had asked for information from the public last March and says she received dozens of allegations. She says she has 35 to 40 active case files on clergymen, mostly Catholic priests. Decisions will be made later on which, if any of them, will be charged.
