The UMKC Kangaroos have the pre-season player of the year in the Mid-Continent conference. Michael Watson averaged just under 22 points per game for the ‘Roos last season in an 18-11 campaign. They’re picked to finish 5th int he MCC, but there are a lot of question marks. Those question marks are in the form of three junior college transfers. Javon Clark, Jeff Bramble, and James Williams. Clark averaged 14.7 points per game last year, Bramble averaged 10 points and grabbed 9 boards per contest, and Williams scored 18 points and had 9 rebounds per game. Certainly if any of those three can match those numbers, it will be a big help to head coach Rich Zvosec who enters his second season at UMKC as they open up their season at home against Robert Morris.
