A former clinic administrator in St. Joseph faces three new federal charges. Mark Tighe, who already had been charged with obstructing a federal investigation, is now accused of conspiracy to commit health care fraud, and making false statements. He’s pleaded not guilty to all charges. He ran MedClinic, a health-services provider, which paid the federal government almost $450,000 in August to settle a lawsuit. A federal grand jury says Tighe worked with others to submit false claims for Medicare payments.
