Dick Vermeil’s wife, Carol, was robbed of her wallet on Tuesday. She’s ok though the assailant made away with an undisclosed amount of cash along with her credit cards and personal mementos. The incident occurred in the Country Club Plaza area of Kansas City, where Carol Vermeil was shopping. She apparently put up quite a struggle. Yesterday, Dick Vermeil said the mugger tried to steal her purse but Mrs. Vermeil wouldn’t let go and he never got it from her. Carol Vermeil then called him an obscene name as he ran away.
