Rams wide receiver Isaac Bruce was named the NFC’s offensive player of the week yesterday. He caught 10 passes for 163 yards and three touchdowns. Bruce also caught the final two TD’s to secure St. Louis’ 28-24 comeback win over the Chargers last Sunday. The performance was on his 30th birthday. There appears to be good news on the horizon for some injured Rams. Head coach Mike Martz said yesterday that quarterback Kurt Warner will be the back up on Sunday, and can play if he has to. Running back Marshall Faulk is still questionable, but he’s apparently made progress on his injured foot and sprained ankle and could play against the Bears next Monday.
