Barrasso Silps in Blues Debut

The Blues suffered their first road loss of the season with a 6-3 defeat to the Canucks in Vancouver. Tom Barrasso played his first game as a St. Louis Blue and allowed six goals. Shjon Podein and Cory Stillman scored the games first two goals, giving the Blues a 2-0 lead in the first. But the Canucks scored the next four goals. Scott Mellanby made it 4-3 at the 17:32 mark of the second period, but Vancouver scored two more in the third to put it away. It was the Blues first road loss of the season, dropping them to 5-1-0 away from St. Louis. They’ll travel to Edmonton for a Friday night game.
