Revenue Department Mulls Over Limiting Teens’ Driving Privileges

The State Revenue Department might ask the Legisalture to pass a law next year limiting teenagers to having no more than one passenger in their car or truck when they’re driving. The Director of the Department says the goal is to reduce the number of traffic fatalities inovling young people. The movement comes from a federal report that has urged Missouri and 29 other states to change laws so they limit the number of passengers young drivers can carry.
