Republicans are still basking in the afterglow of Tuesday’s electoral success in Missouri and elsewhere in the country. And, they’re now planning strategy. Republicans had expressed optimism they would capture the Missouri House for the first time in almost a half century. But even the most ardent Republicans were surprised by this big a victory – 90-seats. The G-O-P juggernaut didn’t stop with the House as Republicans increased their majority by two in the State Senate – up to 20-seats. Now, State Party Chairman Ann Wagner wants Governor Bob Holden’s Office. Wagner, who doubles at Co-Chairman of the Republican National Committee, believes the good news for the party at the state level is a reflection of what she sees as a trend nationwide. She says the change in the State Legislature has been a long time coming and Republicans are ready to move ahead with their agenda.
