Springfield Aviation Museum Grounded

Forget about visiting an Aviation History Museum in Springfield. Trustees have decided to abandon the plan after spending about three years looking for the money to build it. Trustees of the Kalamazoo Aviation History Museum in Michigan had talked about a $120-Million attraction in Springfield but say lack of state financial support, a poor economy, and a study showing first-year attendance would be a disappointment have forced them to scrap the project.
