The collusion charge against the Chiefs and Vikings has been dropped. It questioned whether or not the two teams worked together after the draft to attempt to limit the contracts of first-round draft picks Ryan Sims and Bryant McKinnie. In a short statement yesterday, Chiefs President/GM Carl Peterson called the claim “groundless and frivolous”. McKinnie finally signed with he Vikings last week. Sims who signed with the Chiefs just before the season began, is out for the season with an elbow injury. Closer to the field, the Chiefs will put wide receiver Snoop Minnis back on the active roster. He hasn’t played or practiced since breaking a bone in his foot this spring. The Chiefs will face the 49ers on Sunday in San Francisco.
