The Blues won their ninth straight, topping the Candiens 5-2 in Montreal last night. Rookie Eric Boguniecki scored two goals and dished out an assist and Pavol Demitra had a goal and two helpers. The Blues trailed 2-1 in the second period before Martin Rucinsky and Demitra scored on power plays. Rucinsky has three goals in three games with the Blues. Doug Weight also scored, marking the 200th goal in his career. Fred Brathwaite got the win stopping 13 of 15 shots. The Blues will try to make it 10 in a row tomorrow night at home against Columbus. That would tie a franchise record for consecutive wins.
