The NAIA released it’s pre-season basketball polls and a number of small Show-Me schools made the grade. In the NAIA Division I poll, Columbia College was the only men’s team from Missouri to be included, checking in at 16th. The same holds true for the women’s poll where the Lady Cougar’s are 18th. In the NAIA Division II men’s poll, Evangel College of Springfield is #9 and Central Methodist of Fayette is #25. On the women’s side, Evangel is 5th, College of the Ozarks in Lookout Point is 8th, and William Jewell of Liberty is 20th.
