How do you work in two new players, when the players you have are virtually unbeatable? That’s the task for Blues head coach Joel Quenneville. Goalie Tom Barrasso and winger Martin Rucinsky practiced with the team for the first time yesterday. Both were picked up off the free agent market last week. Quenneville will have some time to figure out their roles on the squad because neither one of them have played since last season and will need some time to get into game shape. Barrasso’s playing time is a little more cut and dry than Rucinsky’s. Brent Johnson is the undisputed #1 goalie and Barrasso will be in a back up role, though Johnson still hasn’t recovered from a sprained ankle. St. Louis has won five games in a row and will face the Predators at home tomorrow.
