A trial in Kansas is nearly over, setting the stage for a murder trial in Missouri. John Edward Robinson, Senior is on trial in Kansas for the murder of three women. His trial in Johnson County, Kansas District Court begins closing arguments today after three weeks of testimony. Three murder charges are pending against Robinson in Cass County. Cass County Prosecutor Chris Coster says Robinson has expressed a wish for a speedy trial, something Coster says he will be happy to oblige. The bodies of three women were found in 55-gallon drums in a Raymore storage locker more than two years ago. Robinson is charged with all three deaths. He faces the death penalty in both states.
