The Big 12 basketball coaches have spoken. The conference pre-season poll was released yesterday and Missouri was tabbed as the fourth-best team in the Big 12. They’re behind Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. Mizzou was picked to finish 2nd in last year’s poll. Two Tigers got individual pre-season recognition. Guard Jimmy McKinney received votes in the Freshman of the Year race and junior college transfer point guard recevied votes for Newcomer of the Year. MU will have their annual Black and Gold scrimmage at the Hearnes Center on Saturday. Mizzou’s first regular season game is on November 22nd against American University.
